2019 what a year for Lani who had a breakthrough season winning multiple National and International medals along with a string of accolades that included
‘One to Watch’ at the Women’s Health, Women in Sport Awards.

Mid-year 2019 Lani headed to Budapest for the FINA World Junior Championships where she claimed gold medals in the 400m, 800m, and 1500m freestyle along with a silver medal in Australia’s 4 x 200m relay team.

Her incredible efforts were recognized by FINA and Lani was awarded ‘Female Swimmer of the Meet’.
To add to her tally of medals, Lani took home five gold medals at the 2019 Hancock Prospecting Australian Age Championships cementing herself as “One to Watch”.

2020-2021 Didn’t go to plan for most of us, and Lani didn’t have the greatest run-up to the trials that she wanted with some underlying health issues surfacing at the worst time, just before the Tokyo Olympics.

But that hasn’t dampened the desire to win gold.

With a move to the Gold Coast Griffith Uni to study for a Biomedical degree in 2021, Lani has slipped back into the pool, and with a new holistic outlook for her training. Understanding the importance of a balanced nutritional diet to support her mental wellbeing and body fitness and with new strength coach Taylor Cecil on board, Lani is hitting targets and improving every season.

She continues to train alongside her Olympic team members and new swim coach and eats the optimal performance-enhancing diet that includes our turmeric tonic that rapidly dispels the lactic acid build-up from training.
